Sue Alter
Sue's Artistic Journey
I began painting with watercolor a couple of years before retiring. When we came to Briny, I began taking classes with Chuck Passerelli at Old School Square as well as Janice Vizino’s watercolor class at Briny.
Collage was woven into my art through a class up north in Lake Geneva with Pam Ring. I also studied with Laura Sven-Spencer and following Lyn Belisle online. I am also inspired by Elizabeth St Hilaire’s work.
Pat Columbus and Karen Morris introduced me to acrylics during the art season at Briny. Currently I am studying with Vicki Siegel during this Covid season through a Zoom class via Old School Square.
As you can see I think I can truthfully describe myself as a life long learner. Through my classes I’ve taught at Briny I continue learning from my students who bring their own creativity to class to share with all.
