Printmaking 3 Day Workshop Works of art that usually exist in multiple copies. prints are created not by drawing directly on paper but through a transfer process. The transfer occurs when the surface is inked and placed in contact with paper. We will be using the process of lino print. 

Syllabus 

1st class - Designing your print, history of Emphasis on positive and negative space.printmaking. understanding the transfer process. 

2nd class -Carve your block. Emphasis on texture and pattern 

3rd class - Inking and printing 

When: Feb. 21st, 22nd, 23rd 

Where: The Briny Art Building 

Time: 1:00 - 3:30 

Fees: All materials will be provided by the instructor for a $25.00 fee - includes soft cut blocks, carving tools, block printing ink and papers. Class fee: $50 for 3 day workshop classes.
