Dory's grandparents started coming to Briny in the 40's and her parents, Don & Alma Coir, bought in 1984. So, for all her life, Dory considered Briny a second home. Her family has several talented artists, some who honed their skills in Briny clubs, but she did not start painting until she retired in 2019.

As first vice president, Dory will be scheduling art demonstrations in the Briny Art Studio throughout the 2022 Season (pandemic recovery allowing!).
